Afghan turquoise - one of the world's most ancient and storied gemstones, mined from the mountains of Afghanistan for over 6,000 years - forms the body of this strand, punctuated by tiny 2mm pink opal beads that catch the light with a soft, rosy glow. The hand carved lapis crescent moon at the center is rich and deeply blue, flecked with the natural gold of pyrite. Just beside it, a hand carved pink opal star - gentle, luminous, and full of quiet wonder.
Made to order and uniquely yours. Adjustable from 16–18 inches with your choice of gold filled or sterling silver lobster clasp and extender chain. Can be made longer by request.
Our charms, rings, stud earrings and huggie hoops are made of 18k gold vermeil and sterling silver. Our 18k gold vermeil is extremely durable. It’s made with 2.5 microns of gold, 100-200 times more gold than a lot of plated jewelry on the market. Our featherweight hoops are made of 14k gold-filled and sterling silver tubing (1.3mm). Our chains are made of gold-filled (gold mixed with silver) rather than plated. Gold-filled chain has up to 25 times the gold found in plated chain and is made to last.
Earrings: Ship in our signature glass bottle with the exception Featherweight Hoop styles and other larger styles that do not fit in the bottle.
